Radio D - an audio course for beginners

The Radio D language course is made up of two series, each containing 26 fifteen-minute episodes. It focuses on listening comprehension and allows you to listen to the episodes while reading the manuscripts.

Contents: Paula and Philipp lead the user through both of the 26-part series. The radio producers have to travel across Germany to research mysterious cases.

Formats: The manuscript are available in PDF-format, the audios can be downloaded as MP3s or subscribed to as a podcast.

Radio D 2: Episodes 27 to 52 take Paula and Philipp all around Germany. They investigate laser attacks in Jena, visit Beethoven's birth house in Bonn and find out about the history of the Berlin wall. …

Radio D 2 is available in five languages:

English, French, Hindi, Persian, Rumanian

Target Group: The Radio D material covers levels A1 (Series 1) and A2 (Series 2) of the European Frame of Reference for Languages. The course is geared to beginners with little or no previous knowledge of German.
