IN THE HOTEL ROOM
NARRATOR:
Harry Walkott is sleeping the sleep of the just. He hasn't realized yet that his latest attempt to escape his time warp has failed like the others. Harry Walkott is stuck. He's not just stuck in the Black Forest where he has been on holiday, he's also stuck on a Wednesday, the very Wednesday which has been repeating itself over and over again.
WEATHER FORECASTER:
Guten Morgen, heute ist Mittwoch, der 31. April, sieben Uhr, zuerst das Wetter.
HARRY:
The plane! Where's the plane? What?
NARRATOR:
She said: 'Heute ist Mittwoch.' Today is Wednesday.
HARRY:
I don't understand it!
NARRATOR:
No? It's very simple: heute is today. There are other words too, for example morgen, tomorrow, or übermorgen, the day after tomorrow, or gestern, yesterday. And ...
HARRY:

HARRY:
Ich weiß und ich bin Harry Walkott – the same as every day, by the way.
HOTELIER:
Möchten Sie frühstücken? Wir haben heute frische Brötchen.
HARRY:
Ja, ja, Sie haben heute frische Brötchen, morgen frische Brötchen und übermorgen frische Brötchen.
HOTELIER:
Oh, ja dann …
HARRY:
Thank you, I know the way to the breakfast room.
NARRATOR:
Harry, I'm beginning to feel sorry for the poor man. Why are you so rude to him?
IN THE BREAKFAST ROOM
WAITRESS:
Guten Morgen, was möchten Sie?
GUEST:
Einen Kaffee bitte, drei Brötchen, Wurst und Käse.
FEMALE GUEST:
Das nehme ich auch. Und ein Ei und Marmelade.
WAITRESS:
Kommt sofort!
HEINZ:
Die Welt ist verrückt! Das Ende ist nah!
HARRY:
There he is.
NARRATOR:
What do you want from him?
HARRY:
In a crazy world like this one he's the only guy who's normal. He is also stuck in this time warp.
HEINZ:

NARRATOR:

HEINZ:

HARRY:

HEINZ:

HARRY:

NARRATOR:

HEINZ:

HARRY:
He hasn't seen the penguins either.
NARRATOR:

HEINZ:

HARRY:

HEINZ:

HARRY:
Wie bitte?
HEINZ:

HARRY:

HEINZ:

HEINZ:

HARRY:

NARRATOR:
