Founded in 1409, the University of Leipzig is the second-oldest university in Germany. The University of Leipzig has a lot to offer. The first European department of psychiatry was founded there. If Harry wasn't looking for the neurologist Anderson, he would find traces of famous students everywhere: For instance, the composer Richard Wagner and the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche also studied there. From his work "Also sprach Zarathustra" ("Thus Spoke Zarathustra"), we have learned that "life is an eternal recurrence of the same." This notion perfectly describes Harry's time loop!

It might have been exciting for Harry to meet Angela Kasner. She also began her academic career at Leipzig University in the physics program. Later on, she became a politician and became famous under the name Angela Merkel: She was the first woman and the first East German to become chancellor.
