Present passive
To describe an action in the present using the passive, we combine the present form of the auxiliary verb werden with the past participle.
Das Essen wird von den Kunden über eine App bestellt.
Die Gerichte werden mit Yaras Fahrrädern ausgeliefert.
The verb werden is irregular:

Simple past passive
When the passive is used to describe an action that occurred in the past, we can use the simple past. The simple past passive is formed using the auxiliary verb werden in the simple past and the past participle.
Das Restaurant „Hiltl“ wurde 1907 von Ambrosius Hiltl gekauft.
Vegetarische Gerichte wurden im Restaurant „Hiltl“ schon im Jahr 1898 angeboten.
