A total loss! Julia doesn't believe Harry's story about the time warp. But he did at least manage to find his way to a lovely café in Hamburg. He can get to know Germany's second-largest city by pursuing his favorite pastime: reading newspapers. Hamburg is not only famous for its port, one of the largest in the world, but also for its publishing industry. Around half of Germany's national publications are published here, including the popular weekly newspapers and magazines "Die Zeit," "Der Spiegel," and "Der Stern."

If Harry treats himself to a Franzbrötchen, a sweet roll with lots of cinnamon, he may not have come closer to Julia, but at least he has come closer to Hamburg. After that, he could perhaps visit the Elbphilharmonie. Hamburg's new landmark, the concert hall completed at the end of 2016 and is not only of interest to classical music lovers. The building, designed by Swiss architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron, fascinates visitors with its unusual combination of an old brick warehouse and a new wave-shaped glass facade. A viewing platform, open to the public, is located between the brick base and the new glass construction. From there, you have a panoramic view of the city and the harbor. Could Harry and Julia perhaps visit the "Elphi Plaza" platform and enjoy the view together?
